Did you know?

...a great way to calculate the time a student needs to spend on homework...

Based upon the student's grade, multiply by 10.
Example:
For a student in 3rd grade, multilply by 10.
This student should spend about 30 minutes for homework.

  1. Great idea on homework time. I may try work that idea into our plan this year. I find that with doing school all day, we don't usually do the homework thing. The student's work is done when they finish their list for the day. If it isn't possible to finish by dinner time, or if it is obvious the child is tiring, I try to work out a way of getting some of the work done and rescheduling the rest for the next day.

Thanks Leslie for getting this blog started!
